Une clé préliminaire âge taille et âge poids est présentée à partir d’un échantillonnage mené sur 212 espadon (Xiphias gladius L.) pêchés le long des côtes tunisiennes entre mars et septembre 2004. les tailles des poissons sont rangées de 60 cm à 173 cm, correspondant à des poids variant de 1,5 kg à 55 kg. Total length and biomass production of the brine shrimp Artemia franciscana were studied fed on soybean and wheat micropulverized meals (applied alone or mixed at different proportions), live microalgae (Tetraselmis suecica and Chaetoceros calcitrans), and dried Spirulina as diets. Eight diets were tested in triplicates during 10 days. Significant differences (P < 0.05) were observed from day 1 onwards. The mixed meal-based diets showed better production results. At day 1, the Artemia nauplii fed on the 70% wheat meal/ 30% soya meal diet were 30% longer compared to the animals from the C. calcitrans group. Silva, des cotes de Monastir : lumière sur quelques aspects hydro-biologiques OceanDocs Romdhane, M.S.; Ben Said, R.; El Abed, A.; M'Rabet, R.. في هذه الدراسة تمت متابعة الطحلب الأحمر Gelidium spinosum على سواحل المنستير منذ سبتمبر 2000 إلى أوت 2001 و أبرزت النتائج المتحّصل عليها أن الوزن الأقصى تم تسجيله في ماي وهو حوالي 37غ أما الطول الأقصى (11 صم) فقد تم الحصول عليه في شهر جوان . و أما الكتلة الحيوية الأعلى فقد تم التحصل عليها في شهر ماي (حوالي 7 كغ/م2) . أما نسبة الخصوبة فتراوحت بين 0 و 100% . كل هذه النتائج بينت لنا أن الطحلب Gelidium spinosum هو نبتة معمرة لكن حضورها متميز أكثر في الربيع والصيف . Neuf cent vingt et un (921) spécimens du Brochet de mer (Sphyraena sphyraena) dont 366 mâles et 519 femelles ont été récoltés au Nord et à l’Est de la côte tunisienne. La période de frai se déroule d’avril à août avec un maximum au mois de mai. L’analyse des rapports gonado–somatique (RGS) et hépato-somatique (RHS) montre que les réserves vitellines sont stockées au niveau du foie, ce qui permet de classer cette espèce parmi les poissons maigres. Scales reading and length frequency distribution were used for age determination and growth estimation of Boops boops (Bogue) stock of Western Mediterranean Coast of Egypt. Age determination using scale was done and the time of annulus formation was detected by the marginal increment index. Bhattacharya’s method was used for length frequency analysis. Both methods showed 6 age groups. ANOVA test revealed insignificant differences between both estimates of length at age results.
